Hailey Nicole Fortner

What was the graduate's greatest accomplishment?

Hailey is an amazing daughter, big sister, volunteer, employee, and outstanding leader. She has been proudly representing the Grayson community for the past 11 years with football cheerleading (2nd-8th grade) with the Grayson Athletic Association (GAA), a Girl Scout from Troop 1104, and then as a GHS cheerleader all 4 years. She volunteered as Assistant Cheer Coach for young GAA cheerleaders as well. During her Freshman year, she was crowned as Miss Grayson-Freshman, she qualified for Beta Club & DECA, and made the football and basketball Cheer squad. She earned the "Most Athletic Award" for Varsity Cheer and lettered in Academics for maintaining an "A" average. During her Sophomore year, she received a national honor for superior academic achievement and membership from the National Society of High School Scholars. For her Senior year, she participated in the Honors Political Systems class and was accepted and inducted into the Spanish Honors Society. Hailey plans to attend Kennesaw State University in the Fall. Hailey ranked among the top 15% and was awarded the prestigious Admissions Scholar status from KSU. She was also invited to apply for the KSU Honors College which is open to exceptional students of any major. She is interested in applying to their Nursing program and minoring in Spanish in hopes to travel and study abroad in Spain. Hailey has maintained an "A" average all 4 years. Her parents are very proud of her and all of her accomplishments.
