We were so saddened to hear the news. Abby and I are grateful to have been able to visit and spend time with him out West. I have some great memories of competitive football games and Brett chasing Tate and I around with THE CLAW. Rest in peace Uncle Brett.

I'm so grateful for getting to know Brett all over again in the last year....we were having so much fun. I'll miss my new buddy and forever regret not having the chance to do all the things we were planning. So glad you made the move to San Diego, it gave us a gift of time with you.

How shocked and saddened we all were to hear about Brett's sudden passing as he was enjoying retirement life and anticipating many years ahead. There were many laughs shared over the years we knew him, at East coast graduations and weddings, as well as Maine vacations. A fond California memory is from Great America Amusement Park where my sister, Donna, and I watched Brett clearly be the biggest kid with his young nephews, Brendan and Chris. A more recent trip found Brett and Bob laughing through ziplining. He loved to laugh and have fun. We know he will be dearly missed.
