Matthew R. Clarke, 64, of Union passed away on 5/31/2018.  Visiting hours at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. in Union will be held on Thursday, June7th from 3 to 6pm.  There will be a prayer serve at 5:30 during the visitation.

Born in Newark, the son of Matthew L. and Jean (McDowell) Clarke, Matthew was a long time resident of Union where he graduated from high school in 1972.  A master mechanic, he was the owner of Clarke’s Auto Repair in Union.  Matthew loved cars and enjoyed following politics but most of all he loved being with his family.

Matthew was the beloved father of Christine Barrios and her husband Stephen, Matthew W. Clarke, Bryan Clarke and his wife Renee, and Madison Clarke.  He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Alexis, Sophia, and Ryan Barrios, his devoted mother Jean Clarke, his dear sister and brother, Barbara Clarke and Steven Clarke and his wife Gina and his beloved dog Max.  He is predeceased by his father, Matthew L.
