Augusta M. Mahon, “Gussie,” 83, of Union, NJ,

passed peacefully on May 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark,

Gussie lived in Union for 55 years. She is pre-

deceased by her husband, John Francis Mahon, Jr..

Gussie is survived by her 4 daughters: Sharon Mesa

and her husband Tony, Dolores Prost and her

husband Norman, Patricia Werchas and her

husband Rob, Elizabeth Carlino and her husband

Diego, and grandchildren Jacqueline, Jessica, Daniel and wife Lindsay,

Travis, Robert and wife Kelly, Joseph, Anthony and Melissa. Gussie is also survived by her sister Dolores and brother Bob. A Mass of Christian Burial will be

held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 10:15 am at St.

Michael the Archangel Church, 1212 Kelly St. Union, NJ.

Interment Hollywood Memorial Park. Visiting hours,

Monday, 4 pm to 8 pm at the Bradley Haeberle &

Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union. In lieu

of flowers, donations in Gussie’s name may be
